Computers
CHPL is home to more than 100 public access computers, including a 20-seat computer lab and 10 laptops equipped with wireless technology. By using your library card or visitor pass, patrons can sign on a library computer for up to four hours at a time. To access a laptop, simply visit the computer lab, show ID, and start using equipment anywhere inside the building.
Express PC
Even with more than 100 computers in the library, there are still times when patrons were waiting to get online! To best serve the public, we created two "Express PC" stations. These computers are designated for visitors on the go who literally need to "hop online and hop off." They are programmed to allow only 15 minutes of computer usage at a time.

Mac Music Stations
These eight computers are set aside for patrons to listen to the library's popular music collection before borrowing a CD. All music is uploaded to these computers and is sorted by title, artist and album. Visitors can also use the Macs to edit videos, watch movies or make their own music with Apple's "Garage Band" feature.
