Scholarship Opportunity

Attention high school seniors! The Friends of the Library will award one $1,000 scholarship and one $500 recognizing high school seniors with strong school and community involvement and who demonstrate an understanding of the public library's mission and services.

Applicants must be a residents of Cherry Hill and public high school seniors graduating in June 2012. Applicants must also have plans to enroll in post-secondary education in the fall of 2012.

Applications will be evaluated by the Friends Scholarship Selection Committee and will be based on school and community involvement, work experience, a faculty recommendation, and a 250-500 word essay on “How would you improve the Cherry Hill Library so that it has a greater impact on the community?”
