The Friends of the Library have monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m. in Library’s Multicultural Room on the Lower Level. All dues paying members are welcome to attend.

Friends of the Cherry Hill Public Library 4th Annual College Scholarship
Deadline: April 4th, 2014
Friends of the Cherry Hill Public Library is a support and advocacy organization composed of individuals, families and businesses. Our goal is to promote library services offered throughout the Cherry Hill community. This year the Friends would like to award two scholarships to graduating high school seniors with strong school and community involvement. The first place winner will receive $1000, and the second place finisher will receive $500. Winners are selected by the Friends Scholarship Committee based on the following: school and commmunity involvement, work experience, a faculty recommendation, and an essay.

Friends Author Luncheon
The Friends of the Cherry Hill Public Library cordially invite you to attend the Annual Author Luncheon, with Lisa Zeidner, author of Love Bomb, which is set in Haddonfield and the Tavistock Country & Golf Club.

Better Book Sale at the Cherry Hill Public Library
The Friends of the Cherry Hill Public Library will hold a Better Book Sale on Friday, April 18th and Saturday, April 19th, from 9:30 am to 4 pm, in the lower level of the library. The sale is part of a variety of activities that will be held at the library in honor of National Library Week, which begins on Sunday, April 13th and ends Saturday, April 19th.
A wide variety of high end books will be offered and will include, art and travel books, as well as children's, large print, history and transportation books. Books will be priced between $3 and $5 each.

We will have lunch and tour the gardens, as well as view the exhibit highlighting the costumes from the popular TV show, Downton Abbey.

Anyone is welcome to donate books to the Friends of the Library to be sold at upcoming Book Sales. Books donations are accepted at the library:
Monday – Thursday

Friday & Saturday
9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
1 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
If you have a bag or two, you can drop them off at the Circulation Desk. If you have a trunk load of books, please pull around to the employee entrance of the Library and someone will help you unload.
